Meet Dr. Khalek Adam Khader
Dr. Khalek Adam Khader graduated from Stanger M.L. Sultan Secondary School in 1985. He earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in biochemistry and microbiology from the University of Durban-Westville in 1989, followed by a Bachelor of Science Honours (B.Sc. Hons) degree in Biochemistry from the University of Cape Town in 1991. Dr. Khader then pursued his passion for dentistry, obtaining a Bachelor of Dental Science (BDS) degree from the University of the Witwatersrand in 1997.
After years of education and training, Dr. Khader returned to his coastal hometown of Stanger to establish a dental practice catering to the local community. Throughout his career, he has continued to enhance his expertise, earning a Postgraduate Diploma in Dental Implantology (P.Dip.Dent. Implantology) cum laude from the University of Stellenbosch in 2003, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Interceptive Orthodontics (P.Dip.Dent. Interceptive Ortho) from the University of the Western Cape in 2011.
With 27 years of experience in private practice, Dr. Khader's focus lies in smile dentistry and interceptive orthodontics. He is an active member of various professional associations, including the South African Dental Association and the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA). Dr. Khader remains committed to staying current with advancements in dentistry through continuous education, attending numerous courses and seminars.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Dr. Khader enjoys exploring his interest in vacuum tube audio amplifiers. He is happily married and a proud father of two daughters, aged 20 and 11.
